Lumberton Public Library Membership

or...How do I get a library card?

Patron membership

Membership at the Lumberton Public Library is open equally to all citizens of the State of Texas ages five (5) and up.   Patrons will need to fill out an application card.  If under 18 years of age, the applicant must have a parent or legal guardian cosign the application form, and the adult cosignor must sign the application card in person.  Applicants will need to provide a government-issued, photographic identification card (such as a driver's license) and two (2) forms of proof of their current address.  If the applicant has a valid driver's license listing their current address, only one (1) additional form of proof of address is required.

The initial library card is free; however, replacement cards are $3.00 each.

The Lumberton Public Library will issue individual cards to each family member that meets the requirements for membership, and each patron must present their card to check out books or utilize other Library services.
